Feeding challenges do not always resolve in the hospital setting, and new questions often arise once you are home. Whether you are experiencing latch difficulties, concerns around milk supply, discomfort, unsettled feeds, weight gain worries, pumping queries, bottle introduction, or simply need clarity and reassurance, we are here to guide you. You do not need to have attended our antenatal classes or seen us in hospital to book an outpatient consultation. We are able to meet you exactly where you are in your feeding journey, providing professional, evidence-based support tailored to your current needs. Our outpatient consultations offer dedicated, personalised care in a calm and welcoming clinical environment. We take the time to assess feeding thoroughly, observe where necessary, and develop a clear, practical plan that feels manageable and sustainable. Our consultation room has been thoughtfully designed to feel private, comfortable and unhurried, a space where you can feel safe, supported and fully heard. Wherever you begin with us, our goal is the same: that you leave feeling confident, empowered and reassured in your feeding journey. Outpatient consultations take place at Sandton Mediclinic or Netcare Parklane Hospital. All consultations are billed on a time-based structure and charged at medical aid rates according to the time spent with you. Our current billing structure is as follows: • 5–15 minutes: R509.00 • 16–30 minutes: R771.00 • 31–45 minutes: R997.00 • 46–60 minutes: R1 349.00 • 61–75 minutes: R1 459.00 • 76–90 minutes: R1 669.00 • 90–120 minutes: R1 984.00 Payment is made directly to the practice following your consultation. You may then submit your invoice to your medical aid for reimbursement. Clarify with your specific medical aid plan prior to booking.
